March 10th, 2010

My HTS is a Sony Bravia DAV-HDX265 with 1 TV/Video (audio in R/L), 1 monitor out (S video/video), 1 digital media port, 1 component video out, 1 hdmi out. I have the 40 GB PS3 (used mainly for Blu Ray)with 1 hdmi out, analog a/v multi x 1, digital out optical x 1, and 2 usbs. The Direct TV reciever has 1 s-video, 1 out to TV co -axial, 2 video out (yellow), 2 audio outs (red and white), and 1 usb port. Would I have enough system power to PLAY THIS GAME FEAR 2? VERY CONFUSED PLEASE HELP?

March 10th, 2010

Okay so I am thinking of taking back a lattop i have and buying another one online Okay the part that I don't get the most of here and I will list the specs bellow but okay the game says it requires Pentium 4 2.8 GHz or equivalent. Now this computer has plenty of ram 6 gigs and freaking it appears a good enough graphics card. The only thing is it says it has 2.13GHz Intel® Core™2 Duo processor which isn't as high as Pentium 4 2.8 GHz or equivalent, at least the ghz number isn't. So can someone explain this? Also the specs needed for the game are bellow and the computer I am thinking of buying its specs are bellow as well. Someone explain that processor stuff and is this computer/laptop powerful enough to play this game easily?

What hardware do I need to watch TV on my computer?

March 10th, 2010

I want to get my cable tv to run on my computer (so i can record some programs) and i need to know what hardware is necessary in order to do this. So I have the tv connected to the computer and it works fine. I have a PC video card installed with a remote control sensor usb plugged in. I think i need a digital antennae converter in order to be able to see the programs on my computer. Is that true? What hardware is necessary?
I have a tv tuner card, but whenever i load Windows Media Center I get a message that says "No TV signal." I think the computer just is not getting a signal from the cable.

IS this a good laptop for school work (microsoft office), games, music and basic web surfing? cost $599.99?
